The CIVS participates in conference on Holocaust Era Assets in Prague from 26th to 30th June 2009
Commission representatives participate in this event which will mark the end of the European presidency of the Czech Republic. The conference will study the statement of the Washington Conference of 1998, assess the current situation, gaps and needs in terms of restitution and finally open on the future through the establishment of an institute that would be responsible for examining all outstanding cases.
The CIVS will convene in Israel from May 18 to 22, 2009
For the sixth time of its existence, the CIVS, the Commission for the compensation of victims of confiscation pursuant to the anti-Semitic legislation in force during the Occupation, will come to Israel.
